IVC CCA/CTA/NEA with hold a meeting of the general membership on Thursday, February 25th, from 3:30pm-5pm in room 2131. Refreshments will be provided.
An agenda packet will be provided prior to the meeting. If you have specific issues or concerns that you would like addressed, please let me know.

The below notice, and attached forms, are for your information as we approach the March 15th deadline for districts to issue Reduction in Force (RIF) notices (aka, pink slips). The Community College Association of CTA is holding its Winter Conference in San Diego on February 5-7, 2010. Our chapter is entitled to send two delegates. Lisa Solomon has agreed to go as one of the two delegates, but that leaves us with one seat unfilled. (Because of a minor medical procedure I am having on Feb. 4th I am unable to attend.) Therefore, I am asking if there are any CTA members out there who would like to participate in this event. The CCA conference is a meeting of only community college CTA members and therefore it is a very relevant and informative event. The conference schedule begins on Friday evening and concludes by noon on Sunday. As a chapter delegate, your travel expenses, hotel room, and meals in San Diego during the conference are fully paid for by CCA.
Please let me know if you are interested in attending this worthwhile activity as a representative of IVC CCA/CTA/NEA.
Remember, it is a weekend in San Diego, expenses paid, but I must know by this Friday at noon in order to get the registration completed on time.
